The
new Ezy-Mount kit will
mount to
R1100GS,
R1150GS/GSA
& R1200GS/GSA 'out-of-the-box'.
The new
bar will mount
any out of 11 possible
PIAA or other lights
(listed below) to pre-drilled
mounting holes, or a
single 10mm hole to accommodate
the PIAA PowerSports
lights.
It will also
work with many other
brands of lights that
utilize single
bolt mounts.
This
kit will not fit
the new 2008 R1200GS
model
Caution: Due
to several reported
clearance discrepancies,
before ordering
for your GSA model,
you should measure
clearance between
top of Crash
Guard Bar and
bottom of Oil
Cooler Assembly.
You
must have 7/16
inch of clearance to
mount my bar hanger
clamps. Oil Coolers
are mounted in
flexible rubber
and the unit clearance
to crash guard
bar is not consistent.

Precision Crafted
The Ezy-Mount® precision
crafted 'one-piece' CNC,
T-6 Aluminum multi-fit/light
bar kit will mount the
following PIAA®
lights.
- 500-Series and 900-Series
- P1000 and P9000
- 1100X and 2100XT
- HP2100 HID
- 600 & 610 HID
lamps and
- Several Hella Optilux
lights that have the
same light base as
the Hella 1500 series
lamps
You can mount top, bottom,
or both. A bracket adapter
kit is available that
allows relocation of
the factory auxiliary
lights to my bar, allowing
you to add a second set
of lights.
All kits are
clear anodized first,
and then have a black
powder-coat applied over
base clear coat. Clear
helps protect all threaded
areas of kit from corrosion
over time.
A durable
Poly-blend, UV Resistant
powder is used for this
bar, as I did on the
original round bar kit
produced for PIAA PowerSports.
Use of the 600
Series and
HP2100
HID lamps
requires installation
of a special HID
Ballast mounting
bracket, purchased
separately.
Also available separately
is our switched power
'Plug
'n Play' wiring
interface kit that allows
connection to the parking
lamp switched power circuit
- without the need to
splice into the factory
wiring harness.
This
kit also allows power
to flow only in one direction,
never allowing power
to flow back to the bike’s
sensitive CAN
BUS system.
Note: Ezy-Mount® Bar kit does
not include PIAA® lights.
